Use of Promotional Codes & Discounts

To use promotional codes you must meet eligibility requirements stated in the latest PDS available on getflip.com.au as well as the following terms and conditions.‍

1. The promotional code can only be used once per customer;
2. The promotional code is not redeemable for cash;
3. If you cancel your insurance, the value of the offer is not refundable;
4. The promotional code can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer; and
5. The promotional code is valid for a limited time only and HCF Life reserves the right to modify or cancel it at any time.

Flip Friends & Family Referral Offer Terms & Conditions

General

  1. The Flip Friends & Family Referral Offer (the "Offer") will run from November 14 2023 until November 14 2024 (“Active Offer Period”). 
  2. This Offer is made by Flip Insurance Pty Ltd, ABN 71 648 680 960 (“we” or “us”), in connection with insurance issued by HCF Life Insurance Company Pty Ltd, ABN 37 001 831 250, and is independent of any other offer. 
  3. By participating, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. We reserve the right to modify, extend, or withdraw this Offer at our sole discretion at any time.

How does this Offer work?

  1. This Offer is available to current, registered Flip customers and their eligible friends, acquaintances, and family members (referred to as "Friend" or "Family Member"). A Friend or Family Member will be eligible for the Offer if they have not previously registered with Flip and meet the conditions to purchase the relevant Flip product.
  2. During the Active Offer Period, each current Flip user will receive a unique referral code after making their first order.
  3. You can participate in the Offer:
    1. If you are a current Flip customer – by sharing your referral code with a Friend or Family Member: For each new Friend or Family Member who uses your referral code to register a Flip account and proceeds to purchase Flip accidental injury insurance, you will receive a 25% discount on your next purchase.
    2. If you are a Friend or Family Member – by using the referral code you received from an existing Flip customer to purchase cover: If you use a referral code when purchasing a Flip product and are a first-time transacting customer, you will receive a 25% discount on that purchase.

What else should I know?

  1. This Offer is applicable only to the purchase of Flip cover from any of the ‘direct to consumer’ (D2C) products - Flip Active or Flip Kids. The offer excludes the Group Active ‘Business to Business’ (B2B) product, Flip Group Active.
  2. This Offer cannot be sold, exchanged, transferred, redeemed, replaced or refunded for cash or any other type of credit, and cannot be applied to any previously purchased cover. 
  3. We may, at our sole discretion, reverse this Offer if we reasonably suspect that:
    1. you have not participated in this Offer in good faith; or
    2. you have acted in a fraudulent, deceptive or misleading manner.

Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride Competition Terms & Conditions

How to enter:

  1. To enter the Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride Ticket Giveaway (“Promotion”), you must enter your first name and, email address at the link provided to you in the email you received from Flip during the Promotion Period (see below).
  2. It is a condition of participating in the Promotion that you agree to all terms of the Promotion, including these Terms and Conditions, which are available at https://www.getflip.com.au/promo-terms
  3. During the Promotion Period each valid submission form received at the link above will be marked as a single entry in the Promotion (“Entry”). Only one Entry per person will be accepted.
  4. All Entries become the property of Flip and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. This Promotion is conducted by Flip Insurance Pty Ltd, ABN 71 648 680 960 (“Flip”). Get in contact at help@getflip.com.au. The Promotion will run in each State and Territory in Australia, from 0900 EST on 22 April 2024 until 24 April 2024 at 0900 EST (“Promotion Period”).
  2. Information on ‘How to enter’ also forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the Promotion is considered as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Entry is open to individuals who meet the following eligibility requirements:
    a. Have received an email from Flip inviting them to participate in the Promotion (“Invitation Email”);
    b. Have submitted their first name and email address via the Promotion form available through the link provided in the Invitation Email during the Promotion Period;
    c. Not be a management committee member of Flip or a person involved in the conduct or marketing of the promotion; and
    d. Be at least 18 years old.
    e. If an entrant agrees to Flip contacting them with requests for further information in relation to marketing and survey responses, Flip may contact them with requests from time to time entrants are not required to respond to these requests. Please refer to the Flip Privacy Policy for further information, including instructions on how to opt-out, at https://www.getflip.com.au/privacy.
  4. This Promotion is a game of chance and winners will be randomly selected by Flip on 24 April 2024 at 1000 EST.
  5. Decisions by the Promoter, including with respect to any dispute, will be final.
  6. There will be 5 winners for this Promotion who will each receive only one prize per winner:
    a. 2 tickets for either the 145km or 60km ride, starting from Elephant Walk Reserve, Torquay VIC on Saturday 27 April 2024.
  7. The winner will be notified in writing by email within 48 hours of the draw. The winner will be published on Flip’s website at https://www.getflip.com.au/promo-terms. The winner will be determined by Flip at its sole discretion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
  8. The prize must be claimed within 1 week of receiving the email notifying of the win. Any unused or unclaimed tickets after this time will be forfeited.

Privacy: Flip collects your personal information that you provide in this form for the purpose of conducting the promotion and providing you with information about Flip products, services and other promotions.

If you don’t provide your contact details, you won’t be able to enter the Promotion and Flip won’t be able to contact you about its products, services and other promotions.
